If you really like music, you will find a project which will show you whether music has any effect on a person’s blood pressure. You will gather a number of subjects, preferably a large group of boys and girls, men and women, and then determine whether hard rock will raise their blood pressure. And you will learn whether a smooth waltz will lower their blood pressure. How about the Beetles, or Elvis Pressley? How will they effect a person’s blood pressure. What a fun science fair project! You will also learn whether boys react differently than girls, and whether men react differently than women. This is a good idea and experiment for science fair.

There is another science fair project which can be good for all grade levels which tests whether girls remember things better than boys. You will put a test group thru a series of experiments and then determine who has the best memory. This science fair project can be easy or it can be more difficult for the upper grades.

You may have wondered whether you sense of taste or smell is better at identifying food? This is another unusual science fair project that will be a lot of fun. You have to gather your test group, and then select a number of different food products and determine for your science fair project how well the subjects can identify the different foods by taste and by smell. You may be surprised that when someone is blindfolded just how difficult it can be.
Those of you who love pets may wish to do a science fair project which determines what kind of pet food your dog or your cat likes best. You will have to get some cooperation from neighbors and friends who have dogs to do this test. 

Some foods may be real easy to identify by taste, for example an apple or a pear. Other foods have unusual textures and may be relatively easy to identify such as banana, lettuce and tomatoes.
